Complex PTSD

Complex PTSD, or C-PTSD, is a disorder characterized by repeated traumatic experiences during childhood.  In adulthood it can contribute to mental health symptoms such as anxiety, depression, substance use, and suicidality; difficulty in relationships; getting triggered and experiencing "emotional flashbacks"; and physical health conditions such as chronic pain, immune disorders, and more.

Think you may have C-PTSD?  Find your ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) score here.  A score of 4+ is highly suggestive of C-PTSD.

For more information on the impact of childhood trauma on mental and physical health outcomes, check out this video by Dr. Nadine Burke Harris, the California Surgeon General.

Though C-PTSD is a complicated and severe disorder, it can be treated.  Book now to schedule your first session!
